PROPERTY CONTINUES TO CARE FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY

A former veterinary practice located on Rosliston Road in Stapenhill has been sold to a local care company as part of the organisation’s plans to expand its services and strengthen its presence in the area.

The 1,731sq. ft two-storey property attracted much interest because of its highly desirable and visible location and the potential to accommodate a range of uses.

The sale represents a new chapter for the building, which has served the local community as a veterinary practice for many years. Following the completion of the transaction, the care company plans to adapt the premises to meet the needs of its growing operation.

The acquisition forms part of the company’s wider expansion strategy, with the new premises expected to provide additional space and enable the business to increase the services it offers locally.

The property’s previous use as a veterinary facility means it already benefits from a number of features that can be adapted for care purposes, including a number of individual rooms, reception and administrative areas, staff facilities and accessible parking.

The transaction highlights continued demand for well-located properties that can be repurposed for healthcare and care uses. Former medical and veterinary premises can offer occupiers an attractive alternative to purpose-built accommodation, particularly where existing layouts and infrastructure can be adapted relatively easily.

Graham Bancroft, Managing Director at Rushton Hickman, and who transacted the sale, commented,  “We were delighted to complete the sale of this former veterinary property. It presented an excellent opportunity for the purchaser, who was looking to expand its care operation and increase its capacity in the local area.

“The property’s existing configuration and location made it particularly well suited to the purchaser’s requirements, and we are pleased to have helped secure a new use for the building.”
