Rushton Hickman Ltd have agreed yet another letting of a retail unit located on Station St, in Burton upon Trent town centre. Unit 5 Britannia House measures 612 SqFt (56.85 SqM) and was formerly occupied by GI Group Recruitment.
Beau Beauty & Aesthetics will hold a celebratory open day launch on 18th November 2021 and will provide a full range of specialist beauty treatments to both men and women. Joint owners/managers, Laura and Lauren Ball, have worked in the Burton area for several years and have built up an established base of clients. The unit has been fully refurbished to a high standard with four treatment rooms and an area for manicure & pedicure stations. There is an opportunity for job creation, as nail technicians and therapists will be needed.
Laura commented “Between us we have 34 years’ experience working within the beauty industry. Since leaving school, we have worked in salons in Burton, Spa’s (Hoar Cross Hall) and further afield – cruise ships & teaching beauty.”
“We both do our CPD continuously throughout the year to make sure our skills are regularly updated. “The staff at Rushton & Hickman have been great!! They could not do enough for myself & Lauren, (especially Simon), every email / contact with them has been followed up that day and they have constantly kept us in the loop , providing some great advice and going the extra mile by contacting the landlord after hitting a brick wall with our solicitor. I would highly recommend them, extremely professional and get the job done.”
Rushton Hickman Commercial Agent – Simon Walker said “I met Laura and Lauren at another property that just wasn’t right for them. Once I understood their brief, I immediately contacted them as soon as I knew that Unit 5 Britannia House was coming to the market, as I could see the potential for them. We agreed lease terms quickly after viewing the property. This is a great result for all parties involved and shows that new businesses have the confidence that Burton town centre is the right place to be.”
Rushton Hickman Director – Graham Bancroft added “the letting of Unit 5 to Laura and Lauren continues our recent success in the town centre and once again showing that the retail market is anything but dead. The use will fit the property well and bring variety to the area and we wish them all the best in their new venture.”
Laura and Lauren will be performing and advising on treatments during their celebratory open day of 18th November 2021. Clients will receive vouchers/discounted treatments if booked on the day of the launch along with a goodie bag to take home with them.
