Background
Born in Derby, Helen embarked on her career in the Business Travel industry as an administrative apprentice. She quickly progressed to the role of credit controller at a Nottingham-based firm in the Freight Industry. There, she took on greater responsibilities in managing debt collection, particularly overseeing the company’s deferment account. A few years later, when the business was sold, the former owners invited Helen to establish their Finance department. This role allowed her to transition into Purchase Ledger, marking the beginning of her passion for finance.
What Helen does
Helen plays a pivotal role in managing the reconciliation of rent and service charge accounts, while also providing vital administrative support to the Finance Manager. Her contributions are essential to the effective and efficient operation of the company’s accounting functions.
Other interests
Outside of work, Helen is a dedicated mother to her daughter who is a gymnast fanatic, so when Helen is not doing the school runs, you can often find her at at the gym for classes or at home, as the lounge serves as a close second for her daughter to get in some extra practice. In her spare time, Helen enjoys dining out with friends and family, relishing delicious food and drinks.
