BURTON PROPERTY LEADERS ACHIEVE PRESTIGIOUS FRICS STATUS

Ruston Hickman are celebrating after two of their Directors achieved one of the surveying profession’s highest honours, with Mark Richardson and Chris Birds being appointed as Fellows of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).

This represents the highest level of RICS membership and is awarded to professionals who have demonstrated exceptional achievement, leadership and significant contributions to the property, land and construction industries.

Rushton Hickman was set up as a commercial property agency and management business in Burton over 30 years ago offering property services across the commercial spectrum. Along with their fellow director Graham Bancroft, Mark and Chris purchased the business in 2019 and have grown it since to include a wider range of services including RICS valuations and professional work on commercial property across Staffordshire, Derbyshire and the West Midlands.

Mark commented, “RICS status has definitely helped shape and drive our business forward over the years. The RICS ethos of professionalism and integrity in property underpins everything we do, and as a business we are delighted to achieve FRICS membership.”

Rushton Hickman continues to grow, and the business has just celebrated its one-year anniversary of relocating into their fully refurbished larger premises at Faraday Court, to accommodate its expanding team.

Graham Bancroft, Managing Director at Rushton Hickman said: “Mark and Chris having RICS membership has helped us build a strong business reputation over the years, with clients appreciating that they can rely on us for the highest standards of professionalism. Now going one step further and achieving FRICS status is a testament both to their professionalism and to our hugely talented team that we are able to continue to push the business forward and operate at such a consistently high level.”
