In a display of dedication and community spirit, three of our very own – Steph, Jade and Taylor successfully completed the Burton 10k on Sunday 11th August.

From the outset, the team were motivated by the goal of supporting Burton YMCA, a vital organisation that provides essential services and programs to our local community. Steph, Jade and Taylor took on the course, navigating the hilly terrain and battling the heat, but they were determined to complete the run without stopping, knowing they were raising funds for such an important and worthy cause.

The community came together in support of our runners, with friends, family and colleagues cheering them on from the sidelines. The enthusiastic support not only bolstered their spirits during the race, but it also contributed to the impressive fundraising total of £1,420, all of which will go directly to Burton YMCA to support their programs aimed at improving the lives of individuals and families in our community.

Jade Martin, Associate Director said:  “The success of this fundraiser reflects the incredible generosity of everyone who supported us and the deep appreciation for Burton YMCA. We are truly thankful for every donation and for the encouragement we received along the way.”
